A glass of fresh fruit juice is a fabulous thing. Vitamins minerals and some hydration.
However in juicing it you lose many nutrients that interact to allow the vitamins and minerals to do their job.

Multiply those glasses of juice out to represent what some of my patients do, 3-6 glasses a day, accumulating one or two pints (1l) of juiced fruit in a day and we have a huge problem. This is not healthy. we can only absorb so much vitamin C (the main antioxidant vitamin in citrus fruit), in excess it is filtered by our kidneys and goes down the toilet..so to speak. The fruit sugars (fructose) are not healthy in large amounts (another article another day)

So. To keep this short and sweet. Eat your fruit. Don’t drink it
